Product Description

We find this peculiar phenomenon in daily life: the cooked shrimp suddenly turns red. This is the pigment astaxanthin, a natural carotenoid.

Astaxanthin is the strongest one of the antioxidants known in nature, often called "super vitamin E", "super antioxidant". Astaxanthin occurs naturally in some algae, fungi, and organisms such as shrimp, crab, and salmon. Their surfaces will appear beautiful orange or red. These red substances are astaxanthin.

Scientific research shows that astaxanthin has obvious functions of clearing free radicals, anti-inflammatory, protecting blood vessels, reducing cholesterol, whitening skin, preventing wrinkles, alleviating joint pain, and improving immunity. In addition, astaxanthin has satisfactory effects in preventing cancer, protecting eyesight, protecting the nervous system, and preventing dementia. Commercially used astaxanthin in the world today is artificially synthesized and naturally extracted. The former is generally used as a feed nutrition enhancer, while the latter is often used in human nutrition and health products and cosmetics.

Astaxanthin——Molecular composition and characteristics.

Astaxanthin, 3,3c-dihydroxy-4,4c-diketo-B, Bc-carotene, molecular formula C40H52O4, relative molecular mass is 596186, is a carotenoid. In nature, it is widely found in shrimp, crab, fish, certain algae and fungi, and many crustaceans turn red due to astaxanthin accumulated in the body. Pure astaxanthin is a purple needle-like crystal with a gloss of 216e. It is insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform and pyridine, and slightly soluble in most organic solvents such as petroleum ether and ethanol. The chemical structure of astaxanthin is composed of four isoprene units connected by a conjugated double bond, and two isoprene units at both ends constitute a six-membered ring structure (as shown in the figure above).

The special structure of astaxanthin makes it show a special response under light, and the color gradually fades from crimson. This is due to the natural oxidation of astaxanthin, which is also the mechanism of its antioxidant effect. The following picture shows the color of astaxanthin oil changes with the increase of the light time after being illuminated by a drop of astaxanthin oil on white paper:

Astaxanthin-the world's strongest antioxidant

Natural Haematococcus astaxanthin is by far the strongest antioxidant found in nature. Unlike ordinary antioxidants, natural Haematococcus astaxanthin can effectively remove free radicals inside and outside the cell membrane (VE, β-carrot Voxel can only remove intracellular free radicals, and Vc can only remove free radicals outside the cell membrane), as shown above.
After research and verification, the antioxidant capacity of natural astaxanthin is: 6000 times of vitamin C, 800 times of coenzyme Q10, 550 times of green tea catechol, 550 times of vitamin E, 20 times of astaxanthin, and pycn It is 17.9 times that of pupae, 10 times that of beta carotene,and 3 times that of lutein.

Free radicals can attack human cells and tissues, and cause a chain reaction, which may cause a variety of chronic diseases, including our common arteriosclerosis, stroke, heart disease, cataract, diabetes, cancer, and so on.
Specifically, free radicals cause various harm to the human body:
• Attacking genes that are replicating, causing genetic mutations to induce cancer;
• Acts on certain enzyme systems in the human body, which can cause the skin to lose its elasticity and wrinkles and vesicles;
• Erosion of body tissues can stimulate the body to release various inflammatory factors, leading to various non-bacterial inflammations;
• Oxidizing lipoproteins in the blood causes cholesterol to deposit in the walls of blood vessels, increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Free radicals can damage collagen and other connective tissues, interfere with important physiological processes, and cause cell DNA mutations. The reason why free radicals are harmful to the human body is because it has lively chemical properties, and will react in a chain reaction with organic substances in the cells of the body, causing a large accumulation of peroxygen compounds in the body, causing the cells to lose normal physiological functions, leading to disease produce.
Natural astaxanthin is called "the world's strongest antioxidant", its scavenging free radicals and its antioxidant capacity are the root of all health effects. The emergence of astaxanthin is a great change for humans to delay aging.

Astaxanthin-anti-wrinkle effect
Related research institutions have shown that astaxanthin can improve the skin's healthy moisture and elasticity by improving the skin, thereby reducing wrinkles and achieving anti-wrinkle effects.

The picture above shows the research experiment of astaxanthin on improving skin moisture and elasticity. Forty-nine subjects (aged 30-55 years old) compared the improvement of skin moisture and elasticity before applying astaxanthin products containing 0.05% daily for 6 weeks and before using astaxanthin. The results show that the use of natural astaxanthin can significantly improve Improve skin moisture and elasticity.

The picture above shows the research experiment of astaxanthin on reducing skin wrinkles. Twenty-eight female subjects (aged 30-55 years old) were used as controls for anti-wrinkle effects of skin containing 0.05% astaxanthin before and without astaxanthin, and were used for 4 weeks. The results show that the use of natural astaxanthin can significantly reduce skin deep fine lines and line wrinkles.

Astaxanthin-anti-inflammatory effect

Scientific research proves that in addition to being the most powerful antioxidant, natural rainforest red astaxanthin has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Chronic inflammation is considered a silent disease among most lifestyle-related diseases. This chronic inflammation in the human body comes slowly. Without being noticed by the immune system, it can lurk in the body for a long time, slowly eroding the body and damaging normal nerve cells, blood vessels and various body tissues. Astaxanthin mainly induces nuclear quenching inflammation by inhibiting the inflammatory cascade of NF-kB. The latest research also shows that astaxanthin can effectively alleviate damaged skin and skin inflammation, accelerate wound healing, and be anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic.

Production process:

At present, in the biological source of natural astaxanthin, the astaxanthin content in Haematococcus Pluvialis is the highest. It has become a research hotspot in recent years, so it is recognized as the best biological source for astaxanthin production in nature, and has become a hotspot in astaxanthin research at home and abroad in recent years.

The cultivation of Haematococcus pluvialis is carried out in two stages: the first stage uses a closed photobioreactor culture system to cultivate large scale Haematococcus to achieve high density growth of algae cells and overcome problems such as pollution; Under stress conditions, Haematococcus accumulates astaxanthin. Parameters such as temperature, pH value and nutrient salt concentration are automatically adjusted by the computer to the optimal conditions, and CO2 is continuously fed to reduce the pH value and increase the yield, while using low-temperature water to cool the cultivation system. Cultivation, after a certain period of time, environmental or nutritional stress treatment is started to promote the accumulation of astaxanthin in Haematococcus. Within 2 to 3 days of environmental stress, thick-walled crocodile begins to form, and astaxanthin accumulates, forming in thick-walled crocodile After 3 d-5 d, the algae liquid can be collected and then concentrated by centrifugation. After centrifugation, the concentrated liquid is dried by enzymatic hydrolysis, and then purified by ethanol to obtain astaxanthin fine products.
